This light and flavorful Italian-inspired pasta dish highlights the richness of Nour Olive Oil alongside fresh garlic, lemon, and succulent shrimp. It’s quick to prepare and perfect for a refined weeknight dinner or elegant gathering.
Ingredients:
- 8 oz spaghetti or linguine
- 2 tablespoons salt (for pasta water)
- 2 tablespoons Nour Olive Oil (plus extra for drizzling)
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 12 oz large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- Zest and juice of 1 lemon
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
Instructions:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain.
- While pasta cooks, heat Nour Olive Oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant and lightly golden (about 1 minute).
- Add shrimp to the pan and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 2–3 minutes on each side until shrimp are pink and opaque.
- Add lemon juice and zest, then toss in the cooked pasta. Stir in reserved pasta water a little at a time to help coat the noodles.
- Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and drizzle with more Nour Olive Oil before serving.
Serve with a side of warm bread or a simple arugula salad. This dish pairs beautifully with white wine and a good olive oil drizzle.
