Olive Oil Lemon Garlic Shrimp Pasta

This light and flavorful Italian-inspired pasta dish highlights the richness of Nour Olive Oil alongside fresh garlic, lemon, and succulent shrimp. It’s quick to prepare and perfect for a refined weeknight dinner or elegant gathering.

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz spaghetti or linguine
  • 2 tablespoons salt (for pasta water)
  • 2 tablespoons Nour Olive Oil (plus extra for drizzling)
  • 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 12 oz large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Instructions:

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. While pasta cooks, heat Nour Olive Oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant and lightly golden (about 1 minute).
  3. Add shrimp to the pan and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 2–3 minutes on each side until shrimp are pink and opaque.
  4. Add lemon juice and zest, then toss in the cooked pasta. Stir in reserved pasta water a little at a time to help coat the noodles.
  5. Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and drizzle with more Nour Olive Oil before serving.

Serve with a side of warm bread or a simple arugula salad. This dish pairs beautifully with white wine and a good olive oil drizzle.
